Would you like to learn how to make your own, cold processed soap? Maybe you want to learn a new skill. Maybe you're interested in learning about the process. Or maybe you'd like to make your own soap for thoughtful handmade gifts.

Whatever it is, we want to teach you! We (obviously) love soap making, and we LOVE teaching others to do it too.

In this 3-hour basic cold process soap-making workshop you will learn how to safely work with lye and how to choose and mix your soap ingredients. You'll choose your colour and essential oil blend to create your own custom all-natural soap. Each participant will leave with one log of soap (equal to about 10 bars) that will be allowed to cure, harden, and be cut at home; a demonstration will be provided.

All ingredients and equipment, including safety glasses and gloves, are included. Participants must be age 18+ (for liability and safety concerns, due to the presence of lye), and must wear long sleeves, pants, and closed-toe shoes. Please bring a cardboard box (about the size of a bankers box), an old towel to line the box, and wear a long sleeve shirt or apron that can be stained.
